This story is just infuriating, like I started reading it when there were only few chapters...and I was genuinely excited to see how it would unfold, but then I am met with this disappointment of a story and art style??

The most infuriating thing to me tho was "the kidnaping" arc and how easily he forgave his "mother" was simply annoying af ,
LIKE GIRL?? She literally abandoned her teenage son because he reminded her of her deceased husband and couldn't bear his burden ??
What do u mean she had an option to work less and closer to home but she chose to run the fuck away??
Was also blessed with " a well behaved " son who after being neglected still sent her half(?) of his pay check , letting her have a comfortable retirement...

Also how uninterested a person can be to not ask thier own SON, when he wanted to drop out and change his name so abruptly, why he wanted that or even has something happened??

And how even when everything finally came to light, she didn't run to her son knees begging for forgiveness?? This bitch waited like a week (IDK tbh) and all she had to say was "HaNniee~~, oh HAnnIe~~" and " good job bb boy" and he FORGAVE HER??????????????? Plus considering her a figure that will be there for him later on ????

Instead of the stupid shit the author has committed, they should have made the mc ignore his " mother"( she can't be called one tbh), leaving her to carry at least some burden that she SHOULD HAVE CARRIED WHEN HE WAS A TEENAGER, to feel at least she had wronged him , or for us to see this bitch facing consequences... ANYTHING LITERALLY, but oh well.......

I enjoyed the story very much, but ngl they're some plot holes - I don't know if it's a suitable description - that kind of left me unsatisfied.

For example, there was no explanation of why did the bell specifically got attached to the mc, maybe I missed it; idk.
Also they introduced a very interesting character which was Dae-byol, I thought maybe he will have a great role or smth, but yhe only thing he did was letting the hyung and his brother go to the earth, don't get me wrong that was the start of everything, and I also know that he was the one that made yoam-ra the deputy of the underworld, and while -again- that was the start of everything, was it really necessary to make him a faceless character, who was the start of all the misfortune, but when narrating his story he was the good thoughtful brother, promising that the underworld would be stable under his regime, but instead he spent all his time sleeping??? That was really bizzare to me.

There's also the sudden immerge of the jade emperor, like why wasn't he in his palace, and instead cosplaying a mountain deity roaming around with the mc and the ml, what is the use of all this, I am saying this because he was introduced as cunning, so instead of this if he had been waiting in the heavens, watching what was happening in the underworld, untill the chance of his " justified" interference arose, wouldn't it be more fitting to his initial image?? Wouldn't it had been better if dae- byol was the one to save the day instead of so-byol??

Idk man, I was just kinda unsatisfied, and felt like it was kinda rushed at the end ( even tho it's a 104 chapters long lol) but yeah.....

Anyway, I still enjoyed it. It served its purpose (easing my boredom) so yeah ..

He is so frustrating I can't even read one chapter without taking a break cuz of him , I am currently in chapter 23 while I am trying to be patient until I reach the part where I understand his perspective I just can't.

First if he wanted to "set the mc free from him " why didn't you tell him from the beginning that your relationship is sour and you aren't in good terms and about to get a divorce instead of confusing a man who has no memory of any thing in his life
Him serving the Mc divorce papers after coming back from a trip is evil .

If you want to finally let him go help him remember want he was actually like . Not just hiding hoping he doesn't remember as you don't want him hating you even when you let him go . that's cowardly and selfish af.

Also , how the fuck a man in his thirties be acting like a fucking teenager?? How the hell is hw a working adult woth this passive naîve personality ???

Still I am trying to push through cuz I actually like the MC at least the current one , and I am bored af

The seme in the earlier chapters is petty af , and for no reason , he himself knew that he is short and scrawny, also the mc didn't even reject him this harshly, didn't spread nasty rumors and didn't make fun of him . So to carry this petty grudge and to harass the mc over it was annoying. Why make work difficult for someone over a passing moment nearly 10 years ago ????
That's why I can't fully like him ಠ_ಠ

So I beinge read this and I have to say I don't really like the uke here's why
First the reason why the uke never told the ML that he knew his mother was becuz he knew that his current "mother" killed ml mother but at the same time the "mother" and her son were his family and he longed for this so he didn't want to give this up by believing his speculation with no evidence ( I think this is the reason why he was obsessed with the ml mother case to prove to himself that his "mother" is not the culprit)
But still he can't help but to feel kinda guilty so he starts sending financial support to the children house that the ml lived in and occasionally go check the result of his efforts , so at the panel that showed the uke watching the kids happy with the money hee so was not particularly happy or excited as the other but the whole scene made the uke satisfied " that's it , that's how I will make heeso happy " but at the same time he didn't want to get too involved with heeso because it would be as a daily reminder of his guilt
Second when everything came together and no he has a proof for himself especially that his " mother's " was the culprit he confronted her "okay she would only spend few years in prison and when she gets out I would keep my family and heeso's mother would receive her justice and at the meantime I would take care of heeso provide him with the support he needs and everyone is happy " but when he knew that his " mother" had cancer and only had few years to live ( I kinda think it a scheme) every thing shattered and what added fuel to the fire was heeso's reaction at this point the uke broke down like this is too much now he has to choose between his dying " mother " and the kid but he didn't want to be the one to leave so he said hurtful things to heeso to make him leave willingly
As if the uke left heeso with his own accord that would make him feel guilty .
Finally at the recent chapters when his " mother " " beat" cancer
U know that this woman is the killer of the person that u cared about now she is living her best life with to healthy sons and a government position , and I bet u would celebrate with her making peace with the fact that heeso already took his " revenge" by staping you
Which was the last straw for me I mean we as humans are selfish but that still pissed me off
If I may add my heart goes for heeso
His life is literally a lie especially the ten years after his mother death
He lived his life pulling the suicide attempts to understand why his mother (where his roots lie ) abandoned him only to know she never meant to leave him
But he choose to hold into the new soil (uke) and " forget" about his previous soil ( mother) only for him to be abandoned again without knowing why ......
