I dont think dawun is a beta, when jintae ( i think thats his name) used hus pheromones on dawun, dawun had some sort of reaction to it but obviously didnt react. I think he is an alpha, maybe dominant.
or if betas can also smell the pheromones but cant get affected? idk what do we think

They are not related, but their families were neighbours and close for generations, you probably remembered the age gap i believe it's around 5/10 years (I don't remember correctly)
