i just want to understand what does it mean to be recessive? i've never read that as a trait before in any yaoi i read in the past (and by that i mean YEARS ago, i haven't picked up that genre in over a decade) so the term was a little new to me. i've read this webtoon before the official translation and i'm reading it again in hopes that it would explain recessive traits and so far i'm still just as confused. if anyone could help me understand that would be perfect!!! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
Could mean a lot of things in the omegaverse world. If there are dominants, think of recessives as almost opposites of that. Usually, it's a pheromone disorder that could range from them being unable to smell the pheromone of others, not being able to release pheromones in an effective way, or even being unable to mark an omega properly. I forgot what version they have here since I haven't read this in so long but that's basically it.
Forgot to mention, they could be recessive omegas or alphas. Each would show a variety of traits as recessives. For example, a recessive omega may be unable to get pregnant or a recessive alpha could be unable to mark.

I’ve read so many omegaverse throughout the years but as far as I remember not in a single of them we’ve had a proper explanation of what a recessive omega/alpha actually is! But based on my understanding most of them cannot get pregnant and usually get their 1st heat/rut very late in life ! In her case , she is an alpha but as you can see she doesn’t have a pp !
