The author last work was mainstream and its considered most people's 1st BL, also their art is pretty. Thats the main reason, plot wise most readers actually hate it but they're hoping for the happy ending the author promised, ofc some people actually like rlly toxic stories like this but they aren't the majority of the fans

Yea in my opinion I think it's a bit odd how people like full on love toxic relationships and want to be in one (I've experienced it before so like it's kinda gross to me) Some people honestoy just need a fucking reality check but I can agree that the art style is actually one of my favs (〜￣△￣)〜
