The original crown prince is alive, he faked his death by dressing a dead body with his personal tokens after the Tiger attack. The second prince (The one that bullied MC and murdered her mother) is dead, the emperor didn't lie when he said he made his own son drink poison.
The first prince/crown prince never wanted to be emperor, so he wanted to fake his death to be able to be free and pass on this "job" to his younger siblings (our now crown prince). But after a few years doing it, he decided by himself that his brother isn't fit for it qnd now is getting support for a rebellion.

They do in a way. Like, the reason the rebellion falls through is thanks to MC, she is able to convince her oldest brother to stop this madness after a long while. Don't remember what happens to him after it, but MC is eventually cured from the poison and the current crown prince (the youngest prince) eventually marries his childhood crush (the nurse/doctor).
This story has a bittersweet taste lolol
Even if the novel is like ‘that’ they should have ended it different in the manhwa. It was so good till chapter 40. Tsar could have been a 10/10. It was so satisfying when Lee won shot him in the leg when they played tag. At least a bit of his own medicine. But it still would have made more sense to change the manhwa into a GREEN possessive cesar who Can accept boundaries and a NO-
imagine spending 50% of the story on this guy who does take shit from anyone specifically takes shit from you because he really really likes you and because of some nonsense bullshit a two year old could sniff out as being suspicious, the guy decides to drop all facade and give up all that dogging around. which, you know what, that's fine too because you give him a backstory that really should have been put sporadically before so that it can feel like an escalation and not a slap in the face.
except, the same person you supposedly love and locked up to rape and drug is totally fine with it cause you "died" and that gave them such a shock, they just forgot everything. you can leave them together, lord, it's fine, but at least, make him have some sort of hated for him for a bit longer. or, as said, make him a "green flag" and have the guy hate his lawyer until it's all fixed?
I think caesar was a 7/10 until ch 40. Only because we can not ignore the factt he is a mafia boss, so he could never be a10. But since he respected lee won's decisions and never forced him up till that point, i think casear can be a 7/10. From ch 42 and onwards he becamos a 0 out of 10. There is no way to sugar coat anything that happens and the fact he never even shows any regret about all the things he did to lee won.
The art is beautiful and i liked the Story because me too can relate to mc for looking away if a partner does something to hurt you and you can’t let go of that someone. But here it’s to that expan that he even got hurt and humiliated. But still many things don’t add up to me. Like the little brother was abusing him in every kind and leaded him on to use/hurt him even more. The older brother does know his brother to some extend so why not stopping it earlier? When and how did he start to care for our mc? And why didn’t that little bastard suffer? I would tie that bitch up and give him the same things he did to mc twice as bad . I think they went too fast and too light into it. He was treated like shit for years and was so fast to let go (maybe it’s the best tho in this kind of situation). He just reacted one time and punched that little shit because he was talking bad about his hyung and not to avenge himself for what he went thru.
