The artist is the same, it hasn't changed since the beginning of the story. When the artist drew the characters realistically in the early chapters. The art style jumped around constantly, outside of their key design features. (Go and compare the art for chapter 1, 8 and 12 to see what I mean) I am not saying her art was bad back then just because I pointed this out. Her art was really detailed and you could tell she used references when it came to the anatomy, and the art was so good, that it made it easy to not even notice the style slightly changing each chapter. The reason I am mentioning it, is because It felt to me like she was testing the waters to find a style that stuck as the chapters continued on. She ended up finding the style and stuck with it to this day. If you compare a current chapter to when the shift happened, the art is impressively comparable. As an artist myself, finding a style that is simplistic, but you can keep consistent for years to come is better than having a style that's impressively detailed, but stays inconsistent. Finding a style that is entirely your own, and if someone were to see a single piece of your work and instantly know it's a piece made by you; that is the true gold standard of being an artist. The artist of Can't Think Straight also has an ongoing slipped disk neck injury, and just recently had to go on a hiatus because of it. She probably can't even draw as detailed as she did in the past because of it. Drawing the characters in a more simplistic art style is probably what allows her to continue drawing to this current day and for future chapters to come. She literally risks making her injury worse every single chapter for the readers, so cut her some slack. Also, stop putting down artists in general, it's not cute.... no one is making you read series with art or character archetypes you don't like. There are thousands of visual novels to read, so I'm sure you will be able to find stuff to engage yourself in if you do some looking. Because from your comment, it doesn't sound like you liked this story to begin with anyways.

fully agreed! although i liked s3 art the best, since it suited my tastes. but i noticed around the tail end of s3 that she started to simplifying her art. s4 art isn't bad. it's just not as detailed as it used to be. so i think it's been a learning curve for her to simplify her style to make it work for serialisation. i believe this is her first time working as a comic illustrator, so she's definitely been learning and trying to see what works for her. :3

I didn’t pay enough attention but all of you seem to be right about the artist just simplifying their style overtime. I guess I mourn all the details there were in the first chapters

yeahh it happens to almost all artists over time, they give their all for the first few chapters and then they have to meet tight deadlines for months (or years!) afterwards, its to be expected!
