A bit of a disappointing ending, felt rushed and the loss of eyesight was very sudden, someone in the comments said we should've gotten some sort of foreshadowing and I agree if we had it wouldn't feel as sudden and I wish we had more content on the family, it feels like we are missing out on so much :/ but all and all I really liked this story
I might be wrong but wasn't cut under his eye done by poisoned blade? Poison might destroy optic nerves. Plus getting hit by her father for sure didn't help xD

That would explain it but that was 1 eye wasent it? wouldn't he be half blind in that case and wouldn't the doctors know of it then? They maybe would see that the nerve was damaged and give us a hint but instead they didn't know what caused the sudden blindness and now im no eye expert but wouldn't it make sense if it gradually faded rather than sudden and all at once? I'll have to look into it

Well optic nerves are connected, so both eyes could lose sight, plus while they are damaged every trauma to the head might worsen their state, like when he was meeting her parents, his vision was blurry, so at this point his nerves were probably already in bad state, then her father punched him right in the eye, so it wasn't out of nowhere. What I was more curious about is why tf he still is wearing glasses when he is blind? It's like wearing shoes on your stumps after loosing your legs.
