Just binged all the chapters currently out in one sitting n almost everything that ticked me off for 70 chapters isn't as prevalent anymore (I was so ready to complain like crazy). The pacing for like 70 chapters felt really slow to me. I feel like this manhwa would be much better if they solely focused on the school grind but they feel the need to push the romance subplot for some reason. Not a big fan of the shitton of misunderstandings n shit. I am a big fan though of ma yuseong n am glad he finally does shit after 80 chapters

I feel like every character has crazy death flags. Ermin is basically confirmed to die at some point, popo also makes me stressed, shion does too maybe. A part of me also thinks the old guy and becky are gonna get killed off at some point too. Perhaps I'm too paranoid but thinking about what would unfold when the characters discover how connected their pasts are is headache inducing. Makes me worried about betrayal n shit. Grimoires ass being scared of what would happen if riley finds shit out makes me stressed too man

I feel like this manga is too realistic to let him win. The storytelling right now really feels like that of your average competition based manga that focuses on the winners pov. They tend to be grounded in reality while still clearly being fiction due to certain parts of the storytelling that may seem more fantastical in comparison to the actual reality of it. In a manga that focuses so much on the ugly reality of the world though, the most fictitious part of this manga has continuously been takanashi him fucking self. It's unreal for such a selfless guy who cares a shitton for his students and also makes an effort to be an important figure throughout their lives to exist in the first place.

Though if he did win, it would be interesting to see how it would affect takanashis philosophy. But because of the parts where we see the students as adults, it doesn't look like he changed one bit.

This goes pretty hard but the pacing feels erratic. The start felt fairly well paced n gradual to me with how they start with kickstarting his celebrity career, but after the first drama shoot arc finished, it feels like the story changes. The storytelling tears away from the gradual fan gain and relationship making n makes new characters appear without a proper introduction which makes it feel like chapters are missing. They do a lot of telling and not showing which makes me feel disappointed. They introduce a lot of things and new skills that feel like they'll never show up again like his music making side hustle. It felt like a subplot that lasted a few chapters that will never get proper limelight. The pace in which he gains new skills is way too fucking fast that it makes no sense to cram all of it into 39 chapters. If there were more chapters in the first season, the author definitely would have been able to flesh each subplot out like they did with the drama.

Also since when did sunghyun have like healing attributes. I feel like that was never really touched up on until he suddenly just does it randomly as if it was something that has happened before.

The way they just explain his whole entire depressing backstory n then the next panel right after has his wackass fucking username on display. I can't take this seriously man. This shit ain't real bruv
