This is the first time for me taking the star for the weak plot and not for the rape, because the author kinda did a good job with it and let me explain. I like that the omega isn’t a doormat (though a pushover), he quit and he got his revenge. It’s still a pity that we didn’t see Dien and the MC together, the firefighter is a much better variant for a husband than the ML. ML got his redemption arc, but it doesn’t accuse why he said to the MC he should have just go with the rape. Though we did get the apology and all that comes to prove his sincere feelings for the MC. Finally, the rape isn’t just to add more drama and pity to the MC’s background. In the end, I think I didn’t like the trope where one side had feelings for a long time (turned out they both had feelings for a long time, but this piece didn’t feel as true, author should have add it in and change. The situation and their relationship isn’t better because of this, maybe even worse), but that just my opinion. Not a really bad story, not a good one. Recommend, but remember there’s a rape. Not sure if I will reread, maybe
The epitome of unhealthy relationships. I’m from Russia so maybe that’s why it was a lil difficult to immerse in the story (bro, public showers and hot springs… I wish we had the last, but these are not the only examples that are a problem. Clearly the author doesn’t know a lot about Russia and maybe visited Moscow once). The biggest problem for me was the rape (~ch44-47). I like smut, but this is one of the stories where I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy it. Some sex scenes felt disgusting. And it doesn’t make sense how a “normal person” accept so much from a mafia boss (mafia c’mon, we call them bandits or OCG). Maybe there’s some problems with the translation though, for example I couldn’t understand why Ludmila is a male or what name is Ref (it’s Lev in the later chapters and it should have been from the very beginning, mean lion in Russian and we do have a name Lev). Nevertheless, the rape is the biggest problem I can’t overlook. I would enjoy it more if Lee-won was special for Caesar in terms of not hurting him sexually. I’m really disappointed in this story because of these scenes.
I can read these mangas many times! I rate them >9.5/10 based on my own preferences, so there will be lots of non-mainstream BL
