So I read ahead of the raw chapters (it's up to 36 chapters right now), and prepare yourselves for some ultimate ragebait for the next coming chapters. Because I quite literally wanted to pull my hair reading this.
I'll summarize (I also had to use Google translate, so I'm using that and context cues to put things together): Shino and Sena were supposed to go on an overnight trip for her birthday, but Sena had to cancel (I believe due to work/schedule conflicts). Shino, all sad, shows up to work where she meets Hyuuga because he was there on a shift. She tells him that the trip had been cancelled - and guess what happens y'all? HE FORCES HIS WAY, DRAGS HER TO THE TRAIN STATION AND THEY GO ON THE TRIP TOGETHER. SHINO QUITE LITERALLY GOES ON THIS OVERNIGHT TRIP ON HER BIRTHDAY WITH ANOTHER MAN WHO IS NOT HER BOYFRIEND. THEY EVEN SPENT TIME IN THE ROOM ALONE???? LIKE WHAT??? Granted, I don't think he spent the night in the room with her...but the fact that SHE EVEN WENT ON THIS TRIP WITH HIM IS DIABOLICAL. But it gets worse from here. They return back, Sena, who is VERY apologetic, prepared a birthday surprise for her and decorated his room and had gifts for her. They end up celebrating together...and I'm reading this, wondering at what point is she going to tell her BOYFRIEND that she went on a trip with another man?? SHE DOESN'T - NOT RIGHT AWAY. IT TAKES HER DAYS/WEEKS TO TELL HIM!! And upon finally telling him, SENA IS THE ONE WHO APOLOGIZES TO HER?????? Sena is made to feel guilty for not being able to show up for their trip....ALL WHILE SHINO'S THE ONE WHO WENT ON A TRIP WITH ANOTHER MAN?? HELLO??? If Sena had done this, she'd be breaking with him - no questions asked. Smh.
And what's crazy is Shino still maintains a CLOSE "friendship" with Hyuuga. She's quite literally playing dumb to his feelings when it's so obvious he likes her. She doesn't put any boundaries, and quite frankly, she doesn't even seem all that apologetic about going on the trip with him. God, I was cringing the entire time reading this. I can't believe I had high hopes for this manga only for it to turn into another love triangle slop.
