Is Mc actually a Transmigator? I dont remember her ever saying anything about her old world/life or even her old name… not even like a slight reference like “i know what its like to have siblings” or smth, literally who was MC before this??
A lot of more recent otome isekai rofan try to go the subversion/plot-twist route, where the transmigrator FL is revealed as a reincarnation with altered memories (usually done by the resident god to have the FL stop disasters along the way, yada yada)... and this certainly seems to be turning into that trope.
Though, I'm more prone to believe that the novel she thinks this world is actually does exist – but as something Riena herself wrote. I think I've read about 3 or 4 other otome isekai manhwas that go this specific route; a in-universe character (the OG FL, as per the FL's memories... so in this case, Riena) has written the story the FL read in the past, kind of like a fanfiction of themselves in what "their perfect life would be like were they to reincarnate and use all of the info they gathered". Then, both FL and "OG FL" get reincarnated, and you know the drill. So maybe that's another genre of subtrope that exists, and this story is playing into it.
(Who knows, though. I'm just speculating.)
No update since may, is this dropped? :(
nonono the rest of the chapters haven't been officially translatedd and from chapter 5-15 are just fanmade chapters (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 im guessing either the fan translation gave up or they're waiting for the official eng trans to catch up since it was just recently uploded on webtoon a few days ago from chap 1-4 (●'◡'●)ノ
As sm that hasn’t read the novel, I have no idea how the fire came to be and basically no one is hurt except the lords family… Anyway, Nahan or whatever doesn’t sit right with me either. Ever since he was like “I made this night illusion” he has been the most suspicious.
My guess is that Nahan worked together with the lord to make a fire illusion, which covered the actual fire that killed lords fam. This way that young snobby guy could inherit the estate and whatnot, but idk what Nahan gains from this. Maybe just spreading chaos and general misery, which could cause an uproar against the crown (and kishiar) in the future…like Nahan is like a rebellion leader or smth, who knows…
also believing in Yuder to still somehow solve this in 3 days!! he’s prob gonna room with the omega friend right? gakane is an alpha and the other is a stranger, so it would be irresponsible-
so i tried some machine translation bc im rly curios about wtf they r talking about in the last chapter, especially regarding the notice about the whole giving up his human rights thing,,,,, well oh boy, so if I got this correctly, then this is lowkey a tragedy.
So, over the course of this whole story, bottom could never say no to top out of fear for his career. The top fell in love?/ became obsessed with the bottom, bc he was the only not homophobic person the top knows ig. the top had like a very bad coming out as a child/young adult, and so he felt accepted by the bottom. And did this whole tentacle thing to basically give the bottom a weakness that would isolate him, so the top would also be the only one to accept the bottom, creating a codependent relationship.
but we all know the bottom never accepted the top for anything, he never defended him or tried to be there for him (WHICH IS GOOD CAUSE THAT MF IS A PSYCHO) and I don’t think he even knows the top is gay. he literally only put up with him bc of his tentacle weakness and work hierarchy, so he was forced…
it’s just awful :((

I read the first 7 chapters and had to stop bc the ML is so frustarting, literally using psychological warfare on the MC, there is seriously no chemistry and its hard to watch…
but i havent seen any comments complaining about the ML, so i need to know if and how the ML redeems himself?
kiiind oooff? somebody correct me if my memory is wrong but I'm pretty sure he apologizes about his behavior in the earlier chapters as well and acknowledged how it was wrong of him to do so
like him getting regressed multiple times made him a bit out of touch in terms of how he should treat people and something like that
Honestly I hated ML when I started this and considered dropping it for exactly the reasons you mentioned. As time went on he quit it with the worst of his behavior and grew on me a bit, but I don't think I'd say he's redeemed himself per se. He's still manipulative and he whole master/servant status is still in place, though he hasn't used it intentionally in quite some time.
Yeah he apologized and is trying to make MC see him in good light, but he knows he fucked up, so he is making the system show that his affection is being increased for MC, and MC is like motherfucker stop because everytime his affection increases, he sees it and gets a notification from the system. also even when MC is doing nothing his affection increase and MC is like wtf did i do this time to have it increase this much. It's actually hilarious.
I stopped at chapter 46 because the whole dynamic was just Stockholm syndrome, and up until that chapter, nothing changed or got better. Have not picked it up since, and it seems from the comments it still hasn't.
ahh ok, ty for explaining ^^, then sadly i wont continue reading this bc atp ML should have stopped the master/ servant relationship. so his remorse feels a bit meaningless if he doesnt put it into action
