As someone who read all the novels of the "if you can" series

With Chase it's a little complicated. He's not as "normal" as the manhwa makes him seem. The adaptation kind of portrays him as if he has always been innocent, but that's not really the case. In the novel, Chase is actually very stubborn and can be pretty violent.

As for Grayson, he also has his own novel, which helps you understand why he acts the way he does. Their parents did try to provide for them, but honestly, they failed in a lot of ways. Ashley (their father) wasn't mentally well either. He messed himself up through pheromone extraction, and his parenting style was always harsh not physically abusive, but emotionally harsh because that's how he was raised by his own father.

Grayson's actions were genuinely meant to "help" Chase. He truly believed he was doing the right thing, but he couldn't understand that his version of helping was actually making everything worse. It ended up causing serious problems not just for Chase, but for everyone around them.

Chase also has sensory sensitivity issues, which is why Koi (his omega dad) is so protective of him. Koi was so concerned that he even wanted Chase to be separated from his siblings, especially the twins, Stacy and Grayson, because they were always trying to "help" him in ways that often made things worse.

Also, the dog part isn't real Grayson lied to Chase because he thought it would help him.

Everything is honestly pretty complicated, especially by the fact the manhwa cut of cancer lot of things especially the kidnapping part im kinda sad about it but if you read all the novels, you'll understand Chase and the other characters much better. Personally, I think Nathaniel is the most inhuman out of all the siblings. From the very beginning, none of them were really "normal," and a lot of that seems to run in the Miller bloodline.

Chase is also called the "Mad Dog" for a reason. You'll understand his character much better in the novel, especially why he's so compatible with Josh. Josh is one of the few people who can actually handle Chase's stubbornness and personality.

also resulting with grayson actions, chase had traumas, and as for me hes actually the most "normal" one out of all the siblings but he's yeah stubborn and also violent, and I think chase also inherited some of koi's (Omega dad) personality and traits that's why he was like one of the normal ppl out of all the siblings

nothing will get worse don’t worry. Basically chase is the most normal one out of the siblings, that is he has emotions or feelings. He understands what emotions are unlike his other siblings. The reason of it is bc he manifest as dominant alpha in his teenage years, while his siblings manifest before 5 years old or in grayson case, he was born as dominant alpha. Bc of this, he was seen as weird and was bullied by grayson and stacy. They saw chase as smtg fascinating and they also want to help him bc he’s too sensitive and weak. Unfortunately their help only worsen chase trauma. In the middle of their bullying, no one in his house would help. Even his parents ignore him or step in too late so chase despised the Miller family even more. And after the dog incident, Chase ultimately cut off all contact with his family. I don’t think he invited them to his wedding too. tbh in my opinion aside from Grayson, his dad, ashley also responsible for Chase trauma.

Alas, like the other commenter said, Chase is quite violent to others. A clear product of his trauma esp from Grayson. You’ll see how crazy he was in novel which unfortunately get cut on manhwa. He also has a high suicidal thoughts and tendencies

Not only grayson bit also Stacy Grayson's Twin sister l, you only read 3 chapters what do you expect the suicidal part is from the middle and like endish part of the story but I don't exactly remember, I recommend you to read the novel from the very beginning to understand all of it lol

nope, theres none don't listen to those ppl,, even from their very first time they did it which is where pete (first child) was created it's also mutual, josh said he always wanted to do it with chase, their whole relationship is consensual idk where ppl get that and I even read the novels

stacy is grayson’s twin. In the the kmiyc and lmiyc (his parents story) novels it mentioned that chase is always being bullied and harrassed by the twins. The manhwa unfortunately didn’t draw her. She was actually there during the scene where chase bird die. His suicidal tendencies is shown throughout the novel. Like chase doesn’t care of him dying of overdose. During kidnapping he also think of dying then later he’ll try to shot himself with a gun but fortunately stopped by josh. Also there’s no noncon scene. Chase literally was so afraid he might rape josh during his rut but josh assure him that it’s consensual
