He brings in a 12 year old commoner ("noble on paper") into the palace to work. Normally that isnt too crazy, BUT she works directly under him and is even allowed to hhandles important documents and state affairs. You also hear rumors that he's "sweet on her". Even worse, you hear rumors that he has her wake him up everyday. soon through the grapevine, you hear he now moved her into the queen's living quarters.
Over the years, you hear rumors and allegations of grooming (and probable assault). That poor child!!! , you can't even protest because the king will not hesitate to kill you or your family for speaking slander against their arrangement. Oneday at a special event, you watch in horror when the young lady makes her debut into society but the king is now blatantly marking his territory with the matching outfits and taking her first dance. He isn't even subtle with his obsession of her by proposing Infront of the whole court, putting her on the spot. She couldn't even refuse because he out ranks her and girl looks completely blind sided.
