I agree that forgiving people who did u so dirty in the past is crazy. But like logically it was explained that dark magic had a huge influence on him. He used dark magic to remove his feelings and forget about athy when she was born, which ngl was a shitty move since he preformed the magic himself. But also athy acknowledges this and forgave him. And his wife gave him a lot of shit talking. It was also explained that every time he saw her the magic would give him a headache since he wasn’t supposed to remember her, which explained him never wanting to see her.

I do think manwha a have a history of justifying shitty fathers but still I understand why he killed og athy in the past. Despite getting major headaches every time he saw her he still let her befriend Jen till Jen was poisoned and then he killed athy. But Tbf I don’t think there is truly a single innocent character in the manwha except Jen and lily. Lucas is evil. Athy kept Jen at arms length but also showed Jen affection which confused Jen . Felix let Claude murder og athy without an investigation. Ijekiel helped his father manipulate Jen.
