Like yes this has the trope of the common toxic BL, what what makes this truly SPECIAL is how the author wrote it. Author handled the problems so fcking HEALTHY, LIKE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO GENERALLY ENCOURAGE READERS TO DO, engage in healthy COMMUNICATION whenever there is a problem. It may not be perfect but I melted every time MC talks to ML it's almost like therapy.
Author handled the toxic tropes so well and not just for the sake of drama, like the story wants to GENUINELY fix a broken person into a better one. That's why MC is literally an angel. 10/10 author cooked

There it goes the classic BL trope to ruin everything-- the lying to his friends that the one ML dating is somebody else. This kinda stuff is too overused IMO and I would gladly open a more creative plot mover than this type of stuff. Hoping things will get better in the future, and plsssss no more tropes like this
