This is one of my favorite novels but ml was a red flag from the beginning for even suggesting sex in exchange of a job position so people should read this with that in mind, it's toxic and it doesn't make sense at times but isn't that why we gravitate towards these stories? As long as you understand this doesn't portray real bdsm and acknowledge ml's mistakes you can still enjoy the story as is- two fucked up characters falling in love and healing together-
And the thing i love the most about ml's character is that he never once excused his actions or pretended to be a good person, he always acknowledged his behavior and apologized for his mistakes and I honestly never seen a red flag in any story I've read do that lmao the bar is too low

This is one of my favorite novels, a novel that leaves you feeling empty after you're done with it. The thing i love the most about it is that both mc and ml are assholes that deserve each other lol there's no pathetic or pushover characters in here.
I still remember throwing my phone across the bed when i reached the plot twist, I was completely shocked and was left questioning everything!! love love love and I highly recommend everyone read it.

Yeah f this I read some spoilers while looking for the novel. This is awful I don’t want this I hate that I read this novel the writer is f*** up.
Ahhhh I gotta continue reading this!! I was so glued to it when the Manhwa came out and got as far as them having sex for the first time.
I was screaming and tossing while reading, IT'S SO GOOD!
But life forced me to do other things and now I have free time and am excited to continue :D
This is one of my favorite novels, it's painful to read and I cried reading many scenes. It's important to note that ML admits to having issues since he was a kid, and he does discuss them with MC at some point, I see how some people can be triggered and upset whenever ML actions are glossed over (which yeah he's definitely a POS who's no better than MC's rapists -he says so himself btw- ) but that's literally what this novel is about, two broken characters healing, and the premise is fucked up from the beginning but I accepted that before investing in the novel. It does get better in later chapters and ML falls super hard in love, but you will not enjoy this manhwa if you can't get over the toxic premise to begin with.

ML gets drunk during a company gathering and MC takes him to his house and they meet his mother and sister in front of his house trying to reconcile, they get into a fight and ML intervenes and takes the mom outside and she tells him about her son's accident. ML doesn't say anything to MC and becomes distant as he tries to process things, he later on takes ML on a getaway and tells him everything and breaks down asking if ML has viewed him as one of his rapists all this time
That's the only thing i felt missing in the novel tbh, it doesn't delve too deep into his past but it does give hints here and there about his controlling mother and him having these urges to hurt himself and hurt the precious things around him since he was young by seeking dangerous lifestyles and situations, so i guess you can call it a coping mechanism, it's an outlet of some sorts for his internal issues

Yes me too, ever since I finished reading the novel I've been hoping for another side story focusing on mr han and his past and how he finally dealt with his mother setting him up on blind dates to get him to marry
