Maybe you already read this. I actually do recommend this for FL's journey and I love how her mindset so strong as lord for kingdom. Romance is not much focus but do there hints in early stage that ML is magician if you can ignore age gap and he see FL to adult from child in castle.
I feel that this one of best strong fl or world building for FL to overcome. I like that she isn't become weaker with ml or men around her.

I’m pretty sure it’s his name in Russian, so it has the same effect as calling someone who’s nickname you’d normally use by their full name instead

Vitya is a colloquial form of his formal name, Victor, that would be used by friends/acquaintances in a casual situation. ( Most Russian names have a casual form... Pavel => Pasha, Ivan => Vanya, Alexander => Sasha for example ) Vityenka is an affectionate diminutive form that you would use with a lover, family member, or someone very close to you to express warmth and tender feelings. There are a bunch of variations... Vityusha, Vitechka, etc etc.
