He's amazing at everything he does and the last chapter I remember reading is his partner gets shot and the MC is trying to save him. I know the description is very broad but I seriously wanted to see if it was completed or not. It's been a few years since it came out and I know it wasn't well-liked by a lot of people due to the art style.
