About halfway, it was actually kind of obvious what happened: for starters, a man raised in a monastery wouldn’t have the manners he has, not to mention the whole arc of destroying the princess. Of course, he knew everything, it became clear to me h eas the elder twin at the party when the princess caught him smiling at keitha. Though I was doubting my suspicions, the more I read, the more obvious it became
Not going to lie the true male lead should have been Sebastian, sure he was rude in that one instance but he’s been a total sweetie since then, especially at the brothers birthday. He saw the girl he likes with someone else and does he kick up a fuss? No he saw how happy she was and left her alone (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I vote for Sebastian to be the male lead, Noah gives me a bad vibe

Going into this story, I honestly did not have particularly high expectations. At first, it felt fairly average and didn’t immediately stand out to me, but as the chapters progressed, it slowly became more engaging. I started to appreciate some of the themes it explored, particularly the discussions surrounding women’s rights and societal expectations. One thing I genuinely enjoyed was that many of the female characters were written with distinctive personalities rather than simply existing to support the main plot or male characters. They each felt like individuals with their own motivations, strengths, and flaws, which made the story more interesting to follow.
However, despite those strengths, I have to admit that this story has become frustratingly slow paced. And honestly, I rarely say that about stories because I usually enjoy slower narratives when they are building towards something meaningful. But at 142 chapters in, it genuinely feels as though the plot is running in circles. So many storylines and conflicts are introduced, yet instead of progressing naturally, the narrative constantly seems to avoid addressing the core issues directly. At times, it feels less like careful pacing and more like unnecessary stalling.
When I first started reading, I was genuinely excited to see where the story and characters would go. I looked forward to new chapters because I was emotionally invested in the characters and wanted to see them grow and eventually reach satisfying conclusions. Unfortunately, that excitement has faded over time. Now, keeping up with new chapters feels more like an obligation or a need for closure rather than genuine enjoyment. Instead of rooting for the characters and their happy endings, I often find myself simply wanting the story to finally move forward and reach a conclusion.
That is not to say the story is entirely bad. It still has strong ideas, interesting themes, and moments where the writing shines. But the pacing has significantly weakened my overall enjoyment, and it has made it difficult to stay emotionally invested in the narrative the way I was at the beginning. At this point, I am continuing more out of curiosity about how it will end rather than excitement for the journey itself.

In this day and age, I feel we should have moved past the yaoi trope of “forced relationships” being excused simply because the characters eventually fall in love. At the end of the day, if someone is forced into romantic or sexual situations, it is still not okay, regardless of the outcome. Not only is it manipulative, but from a storytelling perspective, it has become repetitive and uninteresting.
Quite frankly, this is just one of many stories that uses gay relationships to push unhealthy relationship dynamics while also sexualising the gay community as a whole. Overall, I would not recommend this story because of these recurring themes. While the story is not yet complete, the direction it appears to be heading in feels fairly predictable.
No matter how much I think about the end is just so disappointing to me, I’m glad most people got a bit of happiness but it just feels so flat. I don’t even have the heart to write a full review I’m just sat in mourning here

Disclaimer, this review is based solely on my personal opinion. You may feel entirely differently, and that is completely valid. Every reader brings their own perspective and expectations to a story, and this was simply my individual experience with it.
While the story was undeniably cute and carried a light, fun tone throughout, I ultimately found it somewhat lacklustre. It was an easy read in the sense that the writing flowed smoothly and never felt overly complicated or dense. The pacing made it accessible, and I moved through it quickly without ever feeling stuck or confused. However, that same simplicity sometimes made the plot feel a little shallow, as though it skimmed the surface of ideas that could have been explored in far greater depth.
The characters were charming enough, but I struggled to feel fully invested in their journeys. There were moments of warmth and humor that made me smile, yet I kept waiting for something more substantial to anchor the narrative emotionally. I wanted deeper development, more tension, or a stronger sense of growth that would leave a lasting impression once I turned the final page.
The ending, in particular, felt rushed. After spending time building up the premise, the resolution seemed to arrive too quickly, tying everything together in a way that felt convenient rather than earned. I would have appreciated a slower, more detailed conclusion that allowed the story’s themes to fully unfold.
One aspect I was especially interested in was the business element surrounding the soaps and their environmental impact. This felt like a compelling and relevant angle that had significant potential. I wish the book had delved more deeply into the realities of creating and sustaining an environmentally conscious business, including the challenges, ethical considerations, and tangible effects on the environment. Exploring these details could have added depth, realism, and a stronger sense of purpose to the narrative.
Overall, while the book was enjoyable in a light and casual way, it did not leave a lasting impact on me. It was pleasant and easy to get through, but I finished it wishing it had taken more risks and explored its most interesting ideas with greater depth and care.

An Honest Review

At its core, the entire narrative is built on romanticized Stockholm syndrome. That alone sets an uncomfortable foundation, but what makes it worse is that the story doesn’t seem aware of or interested in exploring the darker implications of this dynamic. Instead of examining the psychological complexity behind it, the relationship is framed as something emotional and compelling, which ultimately feels shallow and unsettling rather than nuanced or thought-provoking.
Despite having read far darker and more disturbing stories in the past, this was still an incredibly difficult book to get through. Not because of its subject matter, but because of how dull and lifeless the execution is. The pacing is slow to the point of frustration, and large portions of the story feel like filler rather than meaningful development. I found myself repeatedly forcing my way through chapters, hoping something anything would happen to justify continuing.
The male lead, in particular, is painfully uninteresting. I felt no emotional connection to him whatsoever, and every attempt to provide depth through his backstory only had the opposite effect. Instead of adding layers to his character or encouraging sympathy, those moments made me feel bored and irritated. His presence never evolves in a way that feels earned or engaging, making it difficult to care about the relationship or the story as a whole.
Overall, this book fails to deliver on tension, emotional depth, or character development. What could have been a complex and challenging narrative instead comes across as monotonous and poorly handled. By the end, finishing it felt more like an obligation than an experience, and it left me feeling frustrated rather than satisfied.

Disclaimer: This review is entirely based on my personal opinion. You may interpret the story differently, and that’s perfectly fine everyone experiences media in their own unique way.
The Script-Eating Actor, while the premise of an actor who somehow transcends the screen and becomes incredible isn’t exactly groundbreaking still belongs to one of my favourite genres. I’ve always had a soft spot for these kinds of stories, even if they follow familiar tropes or feel like variations of the same theme. I usually make it a point to read almost every one I come across, because when done well, they can be incredibly entertaining and emotionally compelling. Unfortunately, this particular story misses the mark for me. The pacing feels far too fast. Scenes transition abruptly, making it difficult to keep track of which project or production the protagonist is currently working on. It jumps between films and shows so rapidly that I often lose the thread of the narrative. There’s no breathing room no time for the plot, characters or emotions to settle and that constant rush makes it hard to connect to what’s happening on the page. Another issue is the character design. It’s genuinely difficult to tell the “attractive” main characters apart. They all share the same general appearance identical facial features, height, and build with only slight variations in hair colour And even that detail becomes inconsistent, shifting depending on the lighting or mood of the scene. While I understand that color theory and artistic style can influence these changes, it still makes it hard to form a clear mental image of who’s who. But the biggest problem, by far, is the writing itself particularly the translation. The phrasing often feels awkward and unnatural, and I constantly find myself mentally auto-correcting as I read. Some sentences are so clunky or confusing that I have to reread them multiple times to grasp what’s being said. It’s not unreadable, but it definitely disrupts the flow and immersion of the story. A cleaner, more polished translation would make a world of difference.
Overall, The Script-Eating Actor has potential the concept is interesting (although played out) and there are glimpses of creativity here and there but it’s held back by rushed pacing, indistinguishable characters, and inconsistent translation quality. With a slower, more deliberate approach to storytelling and better editing, this could’ve been something truly engaging. As it stands now, it’s a frustrating read with sparks of what could have been.
Overall I do not recommend this story, there are much better versions out there.

An honest review: The ugly lady’s secret pouch.
Disclaimer, this review is based solely on my opinion, therefor you may think otherwise and are welcome to your own interpretation.
An empty cream puff of a story, the translations are horrendous, the storyline is just unforgiving and clearly problematic given many peoples interpretations. I feel like there is potential here but it needs to be completely reworked, reworded and paced differently. Things went too fast and interesting aspects that could be followed weren’t mentioned enough to bother remembering.
Overall I give this story 1 star because I simply just don’t want to keep reading nor would I recommend it to anyone.
