I feel like the translator was doing a little too much. At no point in time did the author try to justify in any reasonable way that what happened to Minho was ok. We're all fully aware that the other guy is messed up in the head to the point where it affected Minho severely. Everything proceeding that was a trauma response. Idk, they felt annoying after a certain point because they made critique out of very obvious things that anyone with half a brain cell could see and they treat the author as if they're unaware of their own writing.
Minho was always going to receive retribution for his actions towards people, but it's so terrible that the method was via the two worst people he could possibly encounter. An ending where he realised his mistakes, worked hard, and was honest about his plagiarism -if he chose to continue his pursuit of writing- like when he got the computer for work could have panned out for him in a completely different way than what he ended up with, but again, it is his greatest misfortune that he was "loved" by Wookyung (is that his name? Or is it Sookyung? I forgot even though I literally just completed it). I actually want to do a full character analysis on both of them now but I want to read my other stuff. Toodlesヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
if you read the first story you'll see that the author justified it and played minho as the villain, saying that the girl was the victim and they also downplayed the rape a LOT. She even based this on her ex. okay? this is based on a REAL person! Who in their right mind does that to a real guy just because they are sexist?? and this is not love this is obssesion this is disgustiung. This is NOT retriburtion nor karma minho never raped or sexually assaulted anyone, he even got abused in the past when he was a kid. the lack of empathy i'm seing from you is insane, he continued writing yeah did he have any other choice?? He was at rock bottom, he had no money, after multiple rapes and sexual assaults NO ONE was there for him!

A porn with plot story that genuinely has a good storyline and is enjoyable outside of the characters having sex with each other. The characters are lovable and leave an impression on you, my favourite being the gym owner. He's like the father that Beom never had.
It also tackles some of the issues that sex workers can face in the industry and how people can be manipulated and taken advantage of in said industry without being all victim-blamey.
This is also one of the stories where the main couple doesn't lose out in substance to the side couple. I found both to be equally as enjoyable. I know that conflict can add interest and layers to a story, but sometimes I truly can't be bothered with angsty bs.
I love how honest everyone is with their feelings and how they try to work it out on their own before eventually coming to terms with the fact that they need help. In most other stories, characters will just bury whatever it is until it explodes into an unnecessarily large conflict.
Also, the sibling dynamic between Dowon and Dojin is so genuine and authentic, it makes me smile every time.
Maybe it's just my girl boner talking, but this is one of the few stories that is a 10/10 for me.
