I thought I was weird but goodness me It was just normal i guess? Base from the opinions of other readers too. See, the beef between Rashta, Soveishuu, and Navier is the spice in this story that is why when they were gone (esp Rashta) it slowly became bland..... Not because we are addicted to "Mistress drama" (or maybe a part of us does), but I specifically picked up this manhwa cuz the title, the premise, and even until the story till second half / third, was revolving around the story of an empress, who was betrayed by an unfaithful husband with a slave girl who wants to take her place... sooooooo she "REMARRIED" to a prince, who became a crown prince, a king, then waged war to establish their kingdom as an Empire therefore making mc an "EMPRESS" again.
Soveishuu losing his memories conveniently, Ergi having edgy vibe or somethin, Heinry (??) becoming weird and just sometimes mysterious for whatever the f reason...... I don't think those are necessary...but then again Im not the writer, still... As a reader of both the novel and the manhwa I still can't wrap my head around these thoughts esp other people's love story being frustratingly stupid like....it wasn't supposed to be complicated but here we go.....I want to see the end already (╥﹏╥) ( ̄∇ ̄")
Either the power balance is off/ not maintained or that woman is just too insane. What makes you think that just because Emperor is not there you could torture other consort and think you'd get away from it? Or even trying to kill Empress Las and doesn't think of the consequences? Very ironic that she's even a smart woman, whether that trait is intentional or not (as in if her stupidity is on purpose or not)
Dude I read lord of Mysteries (1.5 k chap??), Reverend Insanity (2k chap), one piece (1k chap), Detective Connan (1.1k chap ??) and many more that takes 500+ chap of novel and manga and all of them have this "boring arcs"-- or so the absence of drama or action--but people get hooked to the story because there's a sense of progress. People are complaining because they are convinced issues can be resolve in a shorter amount of chapters, or if not, thinks there isn't much progress cuz trivial matters are getting out of hand.
The author intended the story to be much longer, far stretching to Navier's children, which makes it a little hazy about what is to look for now? Cuz Navier getting divorce, Rashta's failed ruling, Soveishu's downfall, Gloriam(??) paternity test, and Rashta's downfall are what kept the audience in place. Therefore the lack of "interesting" things to look for are what making this readers say "its boring" "its dragging". Cuz, the aforementioned plots are well established for the 70+ chap we had from S1 building the tension for S2 but now, not all people seems to like/recognize/know the new things to look forward to.
Reading the novel is painstakingly slow, but because I love Re-Married empress, I continue to read it until I reached the manhwa. I do think they dont like the drag because they dont love the story as passionately as we do (or at least that's what I assume)
This >>>>
Honestly I enjoy reading it cause it does give the sense of "happy ever after? Yeah, sure, but we still have work to do". It's not the usual they married, had children, end, but we can explore more of every character's new life and relationships. Sure, maybe it is dragging a bit, but why not enjoy it while we still have this story unfinished?
Ayo, people dropping this is understandable. As I said questions still exist so they cant end it right away or else it'll be plot holes but goodness please see how dragging the story is. It's not about people not liking political drama nor disliking an empress actually acting as an empress but how dragging it felt for little things to be 10-20 chapters long. And yes, I'm reading it, no I did not skimmed it for seconds just to get over it. I love Re-Married empress, and the slow execution of story is understandable at 1st season (so we could understand well the impact of Navier's divorce) but after Rashta's death, especially now after giving birth, the story did unnecessarily took a little bit too slow to progress. But it's nice that they are addressing some "questions" (such as the decline of mages)
Im basically reading cuz my fixation on "finish what you started" forced me but are those chapter..... like is it necessary? I never knew I could agree to my literature teacher explaining how an established antagonist (like Rashta), once uprooted, almost always fail to give the same satisfaction on the story unless it ends with their downfall (Rashta's death) and protagonist happy ending (fl and ml married and have kids). I love you Remarried empress, even though your execution of story is frustratingly slowest of the slow, but still.... The continuation of the story tries to persuade us that it is necessary cuz there still questions exist (like that of Ergi, Soveishu's aftermath, and also because the Author intend to stretch the story with their kids) but.... right now, it just felt more like a drag than a story answering all the remaining questions
╥﹏╥

Im officially reading it just to see frames of Loreina suffering I just cant with characters who's sole purpose was to be obsessed with the MC and ghurll, mc's bland as hell She definitely a self insert character that have convenient personality
Now that you mentioned it..
