lol ukes in seme dominated fields. Imagine how much better the world would be if all these shitty, evil, and selfish seme’s everyone seems to love got as much hate as this mc. Do agree the rape was unnecessary, sucks that most manhwas nowadays just try to sneak it in some way even if it ruins a story.
This shit isn't double standard. Honestly, the rape scene was seen from like a mile away, like since the moment Jinwon said something like "I won't quit until I give my all", I mean come on, it was so obvious he was going to be raped. If y'all didn't know that, that's on you.
Yuhyeon is a damn hypocrite. He's an omega who bitches about alpha being only interested in omega just for their secondary gender (all and very fine since in universe it was established omegas are not really top elite); and thinks Hyeondo is only around him because he's an alpha who wants his company.
But then;
Jinwon (who's father owns the rival company Cheongweong or summat, and it is implied that they want to dominate/own/buy out Yuhyeon's company and has wanted to for decades) who's the ALPHA heir of that company, suddenly drugs you with aphrodisiac and rapes you knowing you're an omega that needs a child.
On what part of God's green earth did he not think Jinwon was trying selling him out to Cheongweong by getting him pregnant? Or feel even betrayed even more by his trusted alpha secretary during the rape (heart bubbles anyone?) Instead, he tells him to fuck him with a condom at least, hits him, hear him out and bandage his wounds.
I came to read this just so I could see how it played out, according to readers on Tt this ending didn’t make sense and Jo not being endgame didn’t make sense either. There’s no way we read the same story TJ was endgame from the start, even at the end when he agreed to leave with Jo it was to run away!! Like the whole point was for Ian to stop feeling guilty and to stop running away. Being with Jo would mean always feeling guilty and continuing to run away. Imo this was the best possible ending for everyone, in the long run Jo and Ian wouldn’t have worked out given how much he really loved TJ. I loved all three characters and I’m happy they got their happy ending
The story has ended, but many readers haven't realized that Joseph is the "endgame." Did people misunderstand the plot, or did they miss how the author chose to write after Chapter 98 and the hints? While it may look like Ian is breaking up with Joseph, they actually aren't. In his monologues, Ian explicitly states that he will return to where he is meant to be once he sorts out the "misfortune" haunting them both.
In Chapter 98, the author notes they lost a "lifetime opportunity," but the first half of Chapter 99 reveals this isn't true, as Ian is shown in Chicago—his true destination with Toby, having a short hair. Chicago is where Joseph is studying. Chapters 99, 100, and the epilogue actually take place in the past. There is a time shift in Chapter 99 signaled by those two sky panels. The author first shows that Ian reached his destination, then backtracks to show what he went through to get there. It can be difficult to grasp, but you really have to analyze Chapter 97 through the epilogue carefully to see the full picture.
Read this in one night and god such a shitty story. No matter how it’s written or excused it’s another story where rape gets romanticized as love. Ukes supposed to be a knight yet he’s dumbed and weakened down simply so the seme can save him and he can grow dependent on him (like it usually goes down in stories like this). He was raped at the beginning and raped at the end. He never consented to having a baby either. This story could’ve gone so differently if only the seme had some sort of character development but nope. He’s an asshole who can’t handle rejection. “I think I love you” he tells Kay after raping him and impregnating him without his consent. Like?? Genuinely what are these writers on publishing such shitty stories

…that being said, she got the ending she deserved and at least looked good doing it. Genuinely everything about this story was perfect. The characters. The plot. The ending. I love when authors actually have a passion for their work. In a lot of new manwhas coming out you can see the lack of passion and creativity in the same recycled stories and characters. I’m so glad this ended the way it did, not rushed and every loose end tied. I hope author takes notes from cbaw and draws this out with a million plus side stories ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
