reread this after a long time, still stays my favorite but i wish the manhwa did the novel justice. It skipped over so many stuff and I wish we got to the see the scene where Kim Shin’s grandfather met him and apologized. The novel is better so this is your sign to read it. I heard that the artist was very ill and was originally not going to finish the last couple of chapters but they rushed it instead that’s why the ending feels lackluster.
The og novel/story “July” was good too! I recommend giving it a read because this is an AU of that instead. Overall this could’ve had such a better ending what a shame it ended like this.. still my fav either way

so cute, i love all the elements of this story and the novel js SOOOOO GOOD. the slow burn is burning but i swear it’s worth it trust. and just letting y’all know, the ‘friend’ that he keeps on mentioning about is IMPORTANT!! i was actually appalled reading and seeing the plot twists. i really like how they included sci-fi along with this romance plot because it’s overall really good!! they make my heart ache sm!! i was waiting for this chapter to drop when it showed his injured leg and how he feels depressed during rain storms (spoiler alert it’s because of some trauma he experienced), because this is where ML starts realizing he may be the reincarnation neheehehehe

yes! he was the colonel’s partner before he died. I don’t want to spoiler too much but.. his death wasn’t explored too much. And he may.. or may not be behind the whole entire reason why the agency is screwing with both mc and ml rn. Just keep him in the back of your mind because he will become more relevant once they explore the laboratories and discover the chimeras.

so he actually knew about Kim Moohyuk (ml) and was the reason behind his big scar / mc’s death as well. The reason why he’s purposefully sabotaging the both of them is because he’s in an agency called Accent that researches about body-swapping/ reincarnation. They had a theory and wanted to test it out, therefore they killed off mc’s original body. and proved the theory when they found out mc was indeed reincarnated. That’s just one of the reasons, the agency also performs inhumane experiments. But i’m not sure if they are also responsible for the central department limiting ml’s powers to cause him to rampage. They may just be?
