Sorry for asking but can someone explain how Nanmu's gang get a huge amount of money and make his gang activities as a source of his income? Do they sell anything? Do they trade or something? I didn't read the whole stories so please enlighten me.
I think they follow the style like those old manga abt yakuzas? Where the whole community/city is under their "Family" and the businesses in it will pay to them in return of being protected and having run their business in their turf.
probably drugs and shit, i know they had to kill people in their early years so maybe assassination or paid intimidation and stuff like that. idk why nanmu reacted bad towards the sex doll thing this chapter it might hint their group dont do that but i doubt it, maybe they just treat their prostitutes better. also i see a lot of gangs in manhwa getting into legitimate business like construction and thats also possible since the young master (pilgyun’s brother) is like prim & proper idk
As far as I've read and I've read this several times in multiple languages their group does not seem to deal in drugs or prostitution. They seem to deal in protection, extortion, money laundering and probably dirty work for "legitimate" businesses, if you remember the deal Pil-gyun's father was trying to make with Soo-ah's father (the girl Pil-gyun fake dated).
