In the beginning, she chose her dad and till the end (of the story) she chose her dad lol. I think it's realistic the way it ended. She is young and she shouldn't have to think about who to pick or be with, if she doesn't want to. I mean she fought so hard to be loved by her dad so I don't blame her for wanting to simply be a daddy's girl.
