Yes ! Start reading other genres ! and while doing this, you may find out about new tropes that you truly enjoy! :-) and when you fidnd them, you will find those tropes in BL too. Happy discoveries (●'◡'●)ﾉ
Here is how i do it to make sure i have always something to read : come have a look on my personnal page (click on my profile picture will take you there!) You will see the lists i have made myself (they are reading lists or recommendation lists with specific tropes ) _ and if you click to the section of my < followed lists > you will definitely find a lot of inspiration ! You can follow those lists of other readers yourself, that's how i do it, that's why i love this website. I wish you a good time you have hours, days, months of exploration waiting for you witb this strategy !!!
