I dont get it. How long was he locked up? A few hours? Why does that give him amnesia and not be able to sleep??
I think the duration of Chaejun being stuck in the storage room hasn’t been specified. I assume it’s overnight. He passed put due to dehydration from crying and being in a cold room overnight. All that stress especially for a kid his age might’ve been too much. It is also possible he got a fever, which couldve added more stress to the body. He developed amnesia and couldn’t sleep bc of the traumatic memories of being locked in the storage room. He could only sleep by smelling Seunghyun’s scent bc the scent from the jacket comforted him. It’s like the phenomenon that a certain smell trigger certain memories and certain scents having calming effects. I hope this answers your questions.
