In veryyy short : Talia does participate in the pilgrimage but the next one not this one. She grows suspicious of a maid and refuses to eat or drink anything coz she's afraid of being poisoned. They stop at a place to rest and Talia experiences a new world of hell hereon.They are attacked by monsters , and Talia keeps telling Varkas to go to a safe place together, which is simply not possible because he's the commander. The half sister is surrounded by monsters and he goes to save her while Talia keeps shouting for him ( not entirely his fault, Talia refused to go to a safe place without him ). Talia is picked by a monster and thrown somewhere, her left leg is very badly injured , so much so that everyone thinks she won't make it . The healers come but the can't do much , Talia keeps asking for incense to lower her pain but she still grits and bears it . They reach the palace where the elves ( highly medical professionals) try treating her leg but the scars remain. They cut her again and again to treat the scars but it remains. So now her entire left leg is so badly scarred that she becomes badly depressed. Stops eating just states at the ceiling all day long. Her mother tells the king that Varkas should take responsibility and marry Talia . Talia under the influence of the incense agrees. Vargas also agrees ( i honestly don't know what goes inside his head ). Anyway they get married, even after the injury is treated Talia is in a lot of pain and has difficulty walking. After the marriage Varkas usually carries her everywhere. On their wedding night , Talia is scared that she skirt would ride up showing her scar and keeps clutching at it quite hard.Varkas assures her nobody would dare lift her skirt without permission. She falls sick pretty bad that night . Then Varkas goes away for a week leaving Talia in the temporary residence. They then depart for the eastern duchy ( Varkas's home ). Anyway I've only read the novel till here but I do know some key future developments.

- Talia pregnant and miscarries.
-Talia dies.
- Varkas drowns himself in drugs and alcohol.
- Varkas does.

I wonder if they are gonna change somethings for the manhwa? cause i dont see a tragic genre or anything like that on the genre list

I heard the novel is still ongoing (and I'm also reading it rn so I haven't caught up yet) so hopefully the author revives Thalia and make her have her happy ending with all those dirty things dead

Question is it still continuing or this is the end?

Novel is still going on , around ch 246 is where Varkas dies. While some say they will regress, others are of the opinion that 90 percent of the novel is complete
