I was some comment on the cheating aspect and...
Although I do not and would never support a cheating spouse. We have to look at the power play involved , the naivety, loneliness, and most importantly the glaring lack of communication that spawned assumptions on both lead characters .
She vulnerable sight was put out and used against her . I don't believe that in her last life ML didn't know about it. He may have and let her have her way as a way to relieve himself of guilt which he must have felt towards her and all.
