Not pitiful at all, she put herself in the position she is. In fact, she is pretty toxic tbh. Always has been since the beginning of the story tbh.
Maybe it’s more like I’ve seen a more mild version of her irl, less box cutters, but still pretty intense and bothersome. I thought it was sad and tiring to see her trying so hard for peer validation, I feel that’s the unpleasant part of adolescence. And then growing up is realizing you don’t need to mess around to look and feel cool
bruhhh chang geon murdered sam myeong's parents. they could have lived longer lives as juhye's grandparents. I get that chang geon showed "mercy", but that was just for a one person who reminded him of himself as a kid
I have no idea how he can be redeemed in sam myeong's eyes (my eyes too!). sm is smart and knows that cg is both loving and antagonistic and a victim all at once. so I think he will only ever have pity, regret, and disdain for him

Lovedddd reading this, I keep coming back to it. The dark and hopeless vibes, the intense attraction, the chase and the running away and the outsmarting. And abundant hot and tasteful sex scenes. But both the protagonists and antagonists made me feel hella depressed, empathy overload. ….And I know this contradicting, but as a feminist and lowkey misandrist, I felt baddddd for Ms. Jeon. A really well-done antagonist who shares the same faces as the two protagonists. Yes, she could have made other choices but I think her past made her someone who felt like she couldn’t. And seungrok back then didn’t seem as reliable I feel like. And unfortunately, I feel like her being a woman gave her more of a disadvantage in finding happiness
Someone wrote a comment below that summarizes the ending, it’s a helpful comment and I’m glad I read it bc it made me think the story is worth continuing after ch 71. BUTTTT I think y’all should just finish reading it on comix first and then come back to this comments section. Because it spoils a “twist”.
In a way, I could have saw the twist coming before, but I still wish I got the satisfaction of reading it without spoiling it for myself
