What happen to art?? Second season art caught me offguard art style are as important as story and plot for me i think I'm gonna drop it the art feels like roblox art it's not bad but not good either it was such a good story but I can't with the art style huhuhu

The Ghost's Nocturne - historical/supernatural between underworld royalty and a human noble who is being tormented by ghosts. It turns more green flag eventually, but it does start with rape fyi.
Painter Behind the Curtain - historical (but in a European setting) with a painter and a con artist. It's been a really long time since I read it, but I remember it started toxic but had a very gripping story.
Anenome Theater - set in 1980s Korea between a straight-A student with an abusive and homophobic father and a rebellious painter who works at a theater which turns into a gay cruising spot at night.
Stranger than Friends - childhood friends start hooking up, but with some very affective angst mixed in
Cold Blooded Beast - I can't say too much because spoilers, but an office worker believes his boss who he had a crush on died, but one night he meets him in the street, only to see him transform into a snake
Salty Lust - If you're up for something kind of goofy that also has a good story, then this one is good. It's about a horny, obsessive alien and a normal human mechanic in the future.
Max Mojave's Case Files - Criminal x Normal guy in college. I think it's also set in the 80s, but in the US
Antidote - this one is ongoing so I don't know 100% that it will be good, but I am really liking it so far. It's set in a fictional kingdom and follows a nobleman-turned-slave who has lost a chunk of his memory and meets a man who he was in love with before he lost his memories.

If you like the modern rich people type setting, then Odd Love and Cry Like a River are good too and they have really nice art.
Also Limited Run, but sometimes the story felt slow to me.

Yeah I've got a couple. Some of these have art that I still think is good, but is definitely more simple than my other recs.
