If these two alphas weren't attractive, boi does the comment section SURE wouldn't look like this. Going crazy over respecting basic human rights and praising a manipulator, gosh. It reminds me of that one guy who went into trial because he ran over a mom and her kid, losing their lives in the process because he was drunk driving. But when the case went public, the masses gushed over how conventionally attractive the offender is, completely undermining the two fucking lives lost. Saying things like, "Ohh, but he's too handsome to be in jail..." like wtf??
Anyway, I really hope the author would deliver in their character development arc. The story telling is great, and I'm liking it so far but I hope we view the characters with a logical restraint because even if we proclaim that what we spout here will only stay in the bounds of make-believe, we're bound to translate some of those sentiments in the real world, especially if thinking about them is a habit.
And don't you think it's an insult to the writers for us to be swayed and be biased towards a certain character solely because they're conventionally attractive? Like come on guys, pay attention to the conflict, the dialogue, the character motivations, the FREAKING PLOT FOR GOD'S SAKE??
The smexy art is part of it for sure, but if that's the only thing you're after then damn, you sure are shallow.
This chapter sure was a "show don't tell" kinda chapter, so much was said even without the words.

When I saw Lloyd and Javier make that face when all their hard work has been washed out by the flood, I couldn't sympathise with them cuz that expression has been used way too many times for hilarious reasons, so my brain just kind of associated it with a funny situation instead of a devastating one. Like istg, this webtoon is so goddamn good, it's literally changing my brain chemistry.
But I guess another reason why the scene didn't hit me that hard is because I couldn't process it fully yet, perhaps a second read would do it. I swear I'm not a psycho for not feeling bad for them ╥﹏╥
