I read it to prove a point. It is overrated. But I did enjoy it because I skipped the first 3-4 chapters for my own sanity. There was some good writing in here but I kind of…. I don’t know. I’d have to finish it to have a full opinion but it’s really not THAT terrible.

ML is so boring. MC is cute when he’s slutted out and it’s legit the only reason I’m hanging around for this. The rating on this is extremely high for the incessant amount of noncon LOL it’s crazy

The angst gets the points… really love it… great immersion but the REASON for the angst is so terribly written LOL BUT the mc is so pathetic I love him I need him

Overrated beyond belief but it’s still enjoyable to read I guess? TikTok eats up the smallest hint of yearning and calls it a day. Maybe I’m just not all over the crybaby train the way I should be

Don’t get me wrong I really like(d) their chemistry and the smut was phenomenal for what it was. Aaron is so uninteresting to me it actually pains me. Yujin is not enjoyable because he feels so forced suave and there’s no naturalness to him. He’s very performative. The plot is regurgitated and nothing WOWED me except yujin getting slutted out. It also took me ages to actually pick it up.
I mean the MC is kind of just obnoxious but the ML makes me lightheaded. I need him. He’s suave and lewd and that’s exactly how it should be no notes.

Way better than passion main novel by a long shot. Yuri is the perfect mc and no one will compare to him ever.

Didn’t think I’d like it at all. I was very much deceived. There’s something very magnetic about the Mc and the ml. They have great chemistry and the writing makes you giddy.

It’s not spectacular by any means but I couldn’t put it down. MC and ML are both to die for and I’ll die on that hill.
One of the few guideverse BLs that made this list. MC is to die for. Don’t care for ML. Like at all. Excited for the next season. Points for regression! Points for angst! ^~^

Got bored at first but then I picked it up again. Read the novel spoilers and realized my grasp on foreshadowing is terrible. I love this. Ml is very suave and unnerving. Didn’t expect the twist (from spoilers). Hits all my points. Intelligence, angst, drama, suave points!

probably one of my favorite pick ups. I read summer season purely because I read this first. Angst points. Beautiful and intelligent/rational mc points. Heard the novel is more fleshed out so I’ll pick it up (maybe).

Still early, but I like her other works. I’m definitely expecting there to be dubcon/noncon which knocks it down a few points just on a moral standing. Will come back to this if the BDSM is poorly done

Ma jeung always delivers ^~^ brother thing is a bit much (clearly not his actual brother but still cmon)
Okay. Like? Just so unnecessary. Well at least borderline seems okay right now… (also had random plot twist) Nevermind.
Behind the scenes is doing good too (there’s a runaway uke tag on the original) Nevermind…
Backlight comes back soon…. (I remember where season 2 finished… fuck)
Yeah I’m losing a lot of hope ;-;
