Im at ch 111 and its so freaking slow. Its funny and the art is cute but nothing rlly happened so far and i feel like lune didnt need to be interested in vivi bc it was clear from the beginning he had no shot w her at all, so unnecessary. Might pick this up some day but a dnf for now
Everyone is commenting the ending is rushed.. well i got to ch. 100 but i just cant push myself to keep reading until the end, NOTHING HAPPENS!!! Every speck of drama or conflict gets resolved instantly and the plot is pretty much nonexistent apart from their romance, which was also boring!!! Wish they rushed this even more bc this couldve been done in 50 chapters or less with how little actually happens
I love the art style (9/10) and i did really enjoy the political side of the plot (7/10), but the romance of it all kinda sucked (4/10). In the first season the set up for the romance is great, only for the male lead to fade into the background in the following seasons.. which is also probably why the ml ended up as such a flat character. The author could had given him more depth if she included him more in the plot in general.. i love the villainess and Herman, and theore was such a cutie, but the whole beating him bit got old pretty soon.
Rlly enjoyed both the mc and ml!! Was actually quite funny and both of them have a lot of personality and their banter was good. Its a very chill read, there are only a couple antagonists and none of them are a genuine threat tbh. Was a bit sad hamel ended up liking ginger, felt quite unnecessary to the plot. Also feel like this could have ended at ch.64, but i wont complain too much about extra fluff chapters, im sure other ppl love it. I guess it was a bit plain, but i enjoyed the couple’s interactions enough to really like this webtoon even though its a bit simple
Thought this was really fun up until ch90/100ish, when it started to drag unimportant plot points and rushing over important plot points and conclusions. Made me laugh irl a couple of times, enjoyed the main character’s personalities a lot, somewhat interesting premise, but was disappointed in the way some plot points came to a quick and easy conclusion when the previous 100 chapters build up to a lot more… depth and drama. Some of the magical/political elements never got fully explained or fleshed out, and certain deaths felt incredibly rushed or anticlimactic.
How did they manage to give literally all the guys character development yet annie does not actually change at all throughout the entire webtoon apart from her (barely) standing up for herself
For me I think it’s good she didn’t change she just chose kindness over and over again and eventually things fell into her way everyone favored her even the girl she was being bullied by betrayed Tiffany for her because of her never ending kindness and resolve to not change that hehe
I appreciate her kindness, but you can have a backbone and be kind at the same time. The two dont exclude eachother.
My personal opinion is that main characters should be developing throughout a work, but annie is the flattest character out of all of them somehow.
Absolute masterpiece!! The ultimate enemies to lovers / enemies that are lovers. The art slowly got better and better as well as it progressed. i did read like half of it on another site bc the translation got kinda bad around ch90ish
