For everyone that’s curious about why Taehee and Jaegyeoms teacher look almost identical, it’s because they’re related. Jaegyeoms master is Taehee biological father but right before the “fight” with Jaegyeom, the master feeds a mermaid pill to the newborn Taehee which makes him immortal. Baby Taehee is then buried for over 200 year until his “grandpa” finds him and basically raises him along with other “spirits”. These spirits are also the main reason to why Taehee wants to take down the exorcists to get revenge.
