Look, for a character to have a redemption story, the actions the character committed must not go through the unforgivable, or else you make them have a "redemption" through death or by having their life ruined (exe : Dark Vador, Walter White). And even THEN that "redemption" doesn't equal "forgiveness" to the characters that were wronged

How the FUCK do you forgive a serial rapist that enslaved the MC ? HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A WAAH WAAH BACKSTORY THIS MOFO NEEDS TO FUCKING DIE, this story isn't "cute" or "sexy" it's fucking infuriating, their relationship went past a point where it can NEVER be healthy

Very frustating story, everyone in this are absolutely infuriating, although i'd give a pass to the uke because i can completely understand being so desperate that you'd be willing to listen to horrible people. Basically what happens in real life lmao

But otherwise the end of this second season is rushed af, the family are all creepy ass motherfuckers and they get no punishment in the story, which could be done on purpose for the theme of the story but i have big doubts about it.

The ML is annoyingly stubborn and refuses to listen to the mc multiple times, he doesn't even believes the mc's situation until he sees it for himself. Until the end their relationship was very toxic and the fact that the ml had little time to self reflect and was forgiven on the spot for his behaviour is frustrating, i sure hope he'll be at the mc's feets in the third season.

The whole plot of the "what are you doing step-bro ?" Is genuinely disgusting. Was it really necessary to put rape here ? Really ? And to show it so blatantly ? Idc about the norms of Yaoi story, i'm getting tired of the constant "falling in love with my rape victim" storyline, of the sexual assaults and the dubcon. Also, The brother of the MC is especially a fucking idiot, who would have thought that throwing a duckling in the wild without support would kill it ? What he did directly put the MC in a more vulnerable position and i completely blame him (in part) for the MC accepting his step siblings help.

Story had potential but ended up just being frustrating.
