A Room Without Windows (OMGGG ) is a 10/10. Actually, scratch that. It’s a 100/100. Oh my God, this is genuinely one of the cutest stories I’ve ever read.
Going into this, I was honestly a little nervous. The psychological tag had me preparing for the worst, and the first chapter definitely doesn’t help. We’re introduced to Gi Tae, our uke, who gets kidnapped by Jo Hoon while he’s on a date. Ji Hoon literally cuts off his leg and keeps him locked inside a room. I was sitting there thinking, “Where is this story even going?”
Then the biggest plot twist hits.
Turns out they’re in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and Tae had lost his memories. As everything starts coming back to him, he secretly takes the hairpin Hoon had in his hair while they were having sex, escapes, sees the zombies outside, and regains all of his memories. From there, everything just clicks into place, and somehow this insane setup turns into one of the sweetest love stories I’ve read!!!!
Their relationship dynamic is so unbelievably cute. I was fully expecting to end this feeling disturbed or disappointed, but instead I was giggling and kicking my feet. I love longer stories because they have time to build the characters and their relationship, and this one absolutely delivered.
Hoon is my baby. I love him so much. Innocent tops are one of my favorite tropes ever, and Hoon is just so adorable. He’s awkward, genuine, and so incredibly lovable. Every scene with him made me smile. GODDDD LOVE LOVE

This was a 10/10, but at the same time… I don’t even know what I expected going into it.
I knew exactly what kind of story Roses and Champagne was supposed to be, yet I still found myself shocked by some of the things that happened. Looking back, though, it delivered exactly what it promised. This isn’t a wholesome romance or a story about two people healing each other. It’s dark, obsessive, messy, and incredibly toxic, and that’s the point.
One thing I really appreciated was how realistic the characters felt within the world they live in. César doesn’t suddenly become a better person because he falls in love. He doesn’t magically develop into a healthy partner, and honestly, why would he? He’s been this way his entire life. He’s not interested in changing, and the story never pretends that love alone is enough to fix someone like him. If he cares about you, he’ll show it in the only ways he knows how, even if those ways are completely twisted.
And Jung… that man matches César’s freak perfectly. They’re both insane. I mean, no normal person is staying with someone who shot them multiple times and slit his own throat because he thought they were leaving. But Jung isn’t normal either, and that’s exactly why their relationship works. I genuinely don’t think anyone else could handle César the way Jung does. They’re equally unhinged, and somehow that balance makes sense.
This story is a lot. There were moments where I just had to sit there and process what I had read because it was absolutely crazy. But that’s also what made it so memorable. It never tries to romanticize toxicity into something sweet or pretend these characters are healthy. It knows exactly what it is and commits to it from beginning to end.
If you’re expecting fluff, character redemption, or a soft, lovey-dovey romance, this isn’t it. It’s toxic, obsessive, violent, and emotionally intense, and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about Moonlight Howling. I liked Eunwoo and Yoon as a couple, and there were definitely some sweet moments throughout the story, but the ending left me with more questions than answers.
First of all, what happened with Yoon’s mom? The story kept hinting at her and making it seem like there was more to uncover, but by the end I was still confused. Then there’s Eunwoo’s little sister. Why introduce her if we’re barely going to explore that relationship? It felt like there was a lot more story left to tell.
And can we talk about Yoon’s ex? The story shows that he was being abused, which is a pretty significant thing to show, only for it to seemingly go nowhere. Maybe I missed something, but it felt like that entire subplot was abandoned.
I also have mixed feelings about the fact that Yoon knew Eunwoo when he was a kid. The story kind of drops that information on us and then keeps moving. I guess werewolf stories play by different rules, so that’s neither here nor there, but it definitely made me pause for a second and go, “Oh. Okay then.”
As for the romance, I wanted more from the ending. The spicy scenes were fine, but they weren’t memorable enough to make up for how rushed the finale felt. I would have rather seen more character development, more answers, and a proper wrap-up for all the loose ends.
Overall, Moonlight Howling had a lot of potential. I liked Eunwoo and Yoon, but the ending felt lazy and unfinished. By the time I got to the last chapter, I wasn’t emotional, I was just confused. Maybe I missed some hidden meaning, but right now I’m left wondering if there are extra chapters somewhere that explain everything.
