The author crafted a beautiful backstory and interactions between the female lead and Yachiyo....just to make him the second lead and overshadow him despite him being the most interesting cast member. This manga was still good af but I will be bad about this FOREVER, bye

The couple compliment each other so well! Big differences in personality and yet they fill in each other's missing pieces.
Tsubasa hides his true self, while Masaki is extremely raw. Tsubasa helps Masaki get closer to his family, while Masaki helps Tsubasa leave his abusive one. Tsubasa making Masaki become more tender, and Masaki letting Tsubasa be spoiled when he wants.
I love the chemistry so much, super impressed with how well the author was able to build this relationship in just five chapters (▰˘◡˘▰)

What Tamaki and Shii made was basically a contract. The whole point of their sexual relationship is to MAKE it seem like Shii is forcing himself onto Tamaki. That way, Tamaki does not feel guilty about having sex because it would technically be Shii's fault. Tamaki is agreeing to letting Shii be the "bad guy."
Tamaki at one point even says he does not want Shii to ask for permission...because that's the point of their new agreement...
I understand some asexual people and those that have had traumatizing sexual experiences, are not happy with the way the author portrayed this situation. But please remember that you are not Tamaki. The author is not trying to cater this to everyone's experience of trauma. She is just showing how HER character is using his own method to overcome trauma.
It's fine if you personally would've taken a different route, but not everyone is the same and it's ridiculous to expect Tamaki to feel the same way you do about his own sexuality.
yes tea. there is more than one way to overcome trauma, and i think the author is doing a beautiful job showing that. as someone who has experienced trauma similar to tamaki, it is incredibly beneficial to have a s/o take the guilt out of the equation.
awesome to hear that you related in some sense :)! i have related trauma myself, and while i haven't resolved it, i find the author's approach to trauma to be very interesting too!
