Came bk to finish ts from when I dropped it during Covid but now I can’t even move past the first few chapters bcs how can ts be so bad that I would rather read a teenmanhua work from start to finish
The prince absolutely pisses me off. First of all, he’s so incredibly stupid and selfish. Leaving the band is uncalled for, especially since the band literally helped him escape his abuser and is even offering him money to stay. I’m pretty sure the payout is enough to feed and clothe him until he graduates, so why is he so desperate for meaningless money and a mansion for a dorm? Meanwhile, Evan and the redhead come from far richer families and have lived incredibly luxurious lives, yet they aren't nearly as clingy to wealth and status as he is.Does he not realize his leaving the band could potentially mean one of his friends has to drop out of school and join a war when he’s still practically a child? Furthermore, he would be fighting for the very country this stupid prince’s royal family is part of.This means that once he walks away, the whole country is doomed. For once, can he stop being selfish and think about the people around him? Sure, he might have been abused, but there are others living in pure agony who still have far more empathy than he does.Also, while you can usually ignore someone being rude, actually hitting someone who is offering you help in your distress is unforgivable. He isn't even grateful; he just goes around hitting people to mask his inferiority complex. This genuinely makes me wish the whole band would stop dealing with him. He just mistreats everyone, causes trouble, and gets away with it because he’s pretty. But honestly, no amount of prettiness can cover up an ugly heart.

well i'm not trying to stop you from being pissed at him. he does cling to his pride and status as prince, but consider this he is going to live miserably without it. i think he will die if he isnt a prince, or if he didnt listen to cecil. it is survival instinct. well his atitude can be better but this is comedy story after all, author deliberately make him more dramatic. other characters are more insane, even the female lead commit a lot of wrong stuff.
compared to them, saiyan cant do a lot of big mistakes like other characters bc he is weak, so punching an underclassmen for being insesitive to him get maximized in your eyes. even the characters in the story think of it as nothing, that's how weak saiyan is in their eyes literally and figuratively. that all he can ever do. so thats why he let him curse and punch and throw tantrum. well it is ok to dislike such character he literally like this webtoon clown.
I completely understand you, the reason why I’m so upset is not because of his behavior towards the Mc because she’s totally psycho and perverted in her ways. But more so towards how he acts with people who has ntg but kind intentions towards him and thus has done ntg to wrong him such as the princess and her buddy. I also believe him being weak doesn’t give him the right to being violent towards anybody, because it js proves if he had power he would be worse. Giving him the power to act ts immaturely in such sensitive situations is wrong even if he is in a comedy manhwa as there is kind characters in comedy manhwas, ts whole thing reminds me of an idea the rich preaches “the weak preaches empathy and moral compass to leach off the rich”. He’s a clown not because he’s weak but bcs he resents what he can’t have while not moving forward bcs even the mc & the other characters were once weak and unfortunate but they moved passed and worked hard. This is wht differentiates her and him even tho they both r the same lvl of weirdo, its not survival instinct but his nature.

But the princess and her companion are innocent and kind and Saiyah knows that FUCK in Saiyan’s eyes the companion is a commoner and way weaker than him. It doesn’t make sense to me why he’s only violent with ppl he perceives to be weaker and poorer than him but not the rich, seems like an hypocrite to me.
