So I’m sort of lost (thought the later chapters helped a bit) what is ceasar’s gender? The first time we see them, the guys at the garage use “he” but in the last chapter we see them (her?) in a dress and they do have a more feminine body. The first time I read this story I thought they were a guy, but it guess not? Anyone has any idea?
So I’m around chapter 45 (first sort of sex scene) and I NEED to know if the next sex scene wont be a rape-ish as this. I’ve been really enjoying this story, but there is literally no love to be found between the two main character and I just cannot read a story like that.
Please tell me if their relationship gets better or if it’s just the main character who desires to have sex with ML because it literally has no other choice (rape)

Genuinely, I wish I could inject these men in my veins. I’m so fucking lost on the plot and I wish someone could explain it to be because I KNOW the author worked their asses of and yet I can’t fucking read but this is sooo goooood
Let me try.... this is super long though...
In this story, the drug trade follows:
Royal Raider Casino of Ross is the legal front
Mercifuls — where Jake works — handle mid‑tier distribution
Mass - provides enforcement and street sales.
Story started off as Jake- a gang member meets Shin - a street mechanic, not fully trusting each other so they hide identity only to fully fall and be obsessed with each other.
Shin messes Jake's car, but Jake found out his scam, leading Shin to offer sexual favors thought it's a one-time thing, but Jake has other plans. Jake made a deal for Shin to be his sexual partner and personal mechanic/errand boy/driver. In exchange for 'protection' / powerful friend with benefits and a stable job in a garage.
Then, Shin meets Wilde from Ross’s casino in the garage, ordering cars for the casino giveaway. At the gala, Jake reveals himself in police disguise to shield Shin from Ross’s advances. Ross dig info about them because it felt off.
Then one day, one day, his long-lost foster brother showed up.
Hosung, his hacker friend, confirms Gren was just out of prison and works for Mass.
On shipment night, Jake ambushes Mass’s convoy, destroys the drugs, kills the crew, and stages it as rival violence — leaving one man alive to testify against Ross. He spares Gren for Shin’s sake. It’s a mistake: Gren faked unconsciousness, and terrified the witness will talk, he kills the supposed witness.
That ends Season 1.
Season 2 opens with Gren waking. He kills the witness and goes looking for Shin.
Jake meets Shin then Gren shows up and shoots Jake. Shin lets Gren escape and stays to help treat Jake's wound.
In this season, Readers learn the truth: Jake isn’t a gang member, he’s an undercover CIA agent. Caesar is posted at the garage watching the mission, and Shin too. Shin still believes Jake is gang; the reveal is for us.
Bounties are out for Gren, the Mercifuls, Ross, and even Shin are searching. Jake stays at Shin’s apartment when his safe house is compromised. Shin doesn’t fully trust him, but knows Gren is safer with Jake than with anyone else. Ross’s men capture Gren, Jake and Izmel pose as police, take him, and let him “escape” as live bait. If Ross’s men get him, he’ll be tortured and killed
instantly; they need him free to draw Ross out and build evidence.
CIA and Jake plan another bust. This time Jake will pose working for Mass, not Mercifuls, they met in the garage to meet Ross’s crew for the exchange. To his shock, Shin is there too, looking for parts. Mass’s men recognize him as Jake’s boy and assume he’s a Mercifuls spy setting them up. The mission fails again. Jake has to save Shin.
Shin figures it out: Jake isn’t in a gang — he’s undercover. Upset, they end up back at Shin’s place. Jake says he means no harm and only wants to protect him. if Shin walks away now, he can’t keep him safe.
Shin chooses to leave anyway.
In Season 3, Shin checks Gren into rehab and resigns from the garage to get away from Jake. Jake is pulled from the mission for too many missteps. But Ross is still hunting all three, convinced he was double‑crossed.
Knowing this, Jake sets up surveillance in Shin’s room. He won’t reach out to him directly, but he watches over his safety.
Gren recovers, but Ross’s men capture them and hold them in a barn. Gren is shot. Shin nearly kills Ross, but Gren talks him down, it’ll only make things worse. They escape, and Shin has no choice but to call Jake for help. There’s nothing they can do: Gren lost too much blood, and a regular hospital would raise too many questions. The barn is burned down and Gren dies.
Shin and Jake reconcile. Hosung shares proof of Jake’s real identity, and Shin slowly accepts what Jake does.
CIA chief Rolfe is nearly removed from the operation too. To salvage her standing, she approves one final bust led by Jake. He agrees. Ross has to be taken down completely, or Shin will never be safe. Shin convinces Jake to let him join, to avenge his brother.
The mission succeeds: Ross is captured with solid evidence. Shin and Jake are both shot but Shin in critical condition, but they survive.
Which lead us to Jake confessing his feelings and Shin accepting him fully.
Jake realizing he really changed because of Shin and he's willing to compromise everything for him.... that a lot of missions from the start went wrong because he wanted to protect Shin. Rolfe, Caesar, and Izmel warned him about him about this. The old Jake would’ve walked away, even when Shin got tangled with Ross to save the mission.
Instead, he kept Shin by his side to shield him.
Basically, Jake started to tread carefully between mission and obsession/love, until the line separating the two blurred.
