i like this story but i think i would've enjoyed it more if taeyoung came from a more emotionally stable family with a normal upbringing who turned spoiled and an asshole rather than him having a secret sad past, it gets to a point that every single asshole seme ever is just this and it gets boring idk him having a sad past doesn't necessarily make me sympathize with him more since I've seen this same plot a hundred thousand times before. tbh idk why i thought this manhwa specifically would have a more interesting take on a cliche so maybe it's on me lol
I get kinda what u mean, instead of sitting on it in a morally grey way, its a narrative choice but yeah. its also kinda weird because little of the mc past has been shown especially in regards to his dad but we have flashbacks for taeyoung...if this went down the, they knew each other as children briefly route, fated, ughhhh I hope not.
i liked it tbh the alpha seme is an asshole but since we see it from the uke alpha pov for most of the story you don't really expect it but it was a fun little twist, especially bc the author is aware the seme is fucked up and doesn't give them an outright happy ending, it stays ambiguous.
ppl in the comments are saying it takes a wild shift in chapters 6/6.5 but cmon lmao he cheats on the mc on chap 3, you just breezed past that bc you wanted to convince yourself this was a fluffly read. this manga would be better if it was longer, bc then the author would have more time to work the seme's perspective but eh. it was fun.
