so like we knew that Muhan was tortured and all to become a deity but I really thought it was kind of on his own terms. Like the way he would speak of it, it sounded like he volunteered for that position so he could have his Luna and live with power so he could protect his partner but goddamn this shit is traumatic
I think he talks like that because he believes that he deserved it.
