A billion chapters ago i said that guwon's rules made sense and i stand by it. I imagine they made infinite attempts to make this little post apocalyptic society work and this is the best configuration they got so far. The hounds are necessary, the kids are necessary, saving medication was necessary etc.

People tend to think very one dimensional with only their moral compass in mind without being considerate to the situation and reality in the story. That’s also why I started to hate teach at the end of season 1. I knew it would end like this, idk how it will end generally but I guessed that he will backstab guwon and that the town will fall because these people are dumb as fuckkkk and can’t survive without a strong hand leading them. But imagine some1 making a mistake, that's forgiven and some1 make another mistake, and another and so on in that apocalyptic world where resources are scarce and lives are lost just as easy. The hounds aren't invincible, one literally died, and they are the one bringing in shit to the town, so ofc rules will be strict!!
Cruel yes, guwon definitely got something wrong upstair and people live that peacefully there coz he can be cruel to enforce the rule. I never got the "oh he's a black flag!!", while he's one of the character whose cruelty can be understood and not just coz he's a sadistic fucker
