Can anyone recommend yaoi titles where the main couple have a fight, one of them says something and goes too far and the other leaves? Happy or sad endings are fine (happy preferred, but who doesn't love a bit of tragedy sometime too)
Basically, on the brink of a or a complete break up
Or running away/escaping relationship
Looking for any yaoi along the lines of main character falls in love with another guy, other guy tries to say let's be friends so main guy decides to leave/quit/distance himself to be away and after that guy realizes he does actually like him ^^ the sappier the better :3
that's right up my alley

So I'm really into yaoi that has age gaps and in general are cute and sweet.
I'm looking for something that has a couple who are in a relationship and one decides to leave the other so he can have a"normal" life or a family or get married but they get back together because the other guy loves him! Something like that (⌒▽⌒)
Or basically someone running away from the relationship cause they're scared to fall in love etc... Any recommendations ^^
So I read this yaoi and I can't find it in my lists so need help, it's a story of 2 childhood friends that started going out and spent years together, the chapters tell how their lives changed every few years, after being together for 10 years one of the guys says they should break up so he can get married cause it's not normal and then years later hes divorced and he goes on holiday to see the northan lights that his old partner wanted to see with him because he misses his old love and coincidentally meets him there, it then carries on with them getting back together and growing old together. Anyone know what it's called?

Can anyone recommend family based yaoi? I adore fluffy stories where there's a single father or a guardian looking after a young child finding love. Stuff like 'family situation', 'Motoyan Papa to Hitsuji-sensei' and 'Sensei wa Butchozura Shite Yatte Kuru'.
Can anyone make any suggestions?? Thank you! (= ^ ω ^ =)
Most here, except for Roman Gousha and Kozure Ookami, I think, because they're not fluffy as far as I remember.

Some of my favorites. :) I was super hooked on the single parent/father genre for a while!

I've been reading manga for over a year now mainly being Yaoi and BL and sometimes shoujo, now l feel like its more of a comfort thing, like I need to read.
I only started reading manga after a traumatic event and although I'm coping better I still find comfort in reading this...
Ive spoken to many friends and even mentioned it in passing with a counsellor and people seem to think its weird...
I can understand that the subject of the manga isn't always sunshine and rainbow and can be sexual but is it odd to find comfort in reading this??
I feel that when I'm reading im able to forget everything in the real world and the pain I suffered, it has helped me a lot, but it seems no one I know thinks its normal, so is it really weird?
You can totally read manga to comfort yourself BUT mental health is important, if you suffered a trauma you should seek attention from a psychologist, manga can't replace professional attention. Therapy is not something that you have once and you feel better, it might take you months but you should give it a try, don't let your trauma stand there because it'll try to take you down w/time. Good luck (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Uff...You "feel" like its a comfort thing because it is supposed to be. It would be wierd if you get stressed and anxious out of reading manga.
Why do people always question "am i wierd" NO! You basically are asking if all those who are like you are wierd as well. I am sorry, i dont think I AM WIERD for thinking every sentence like that is an hidden insult.
It isnt weird. Even if you are reading BL, comic, or classic book, reading is a wonderful way to escape from your own thoughts and honestly way healthier than having a destructive coping habit such as harming yourself. But honestly everybody is at least a bit weird and if you meet a “normal” person they just are hiding what they dont want you to see. The important part is finding people in our life that we can be weird together with.
It's normal. It's a hobby you enjoy, so there's nothing wrong with using it as a comfort thing/coping mechanism. I'm the same, whenever I get super stressed or depressed, I often go for BL or yaoi. I told my counselor I read manga to help myself relax and she said that was a good thing. So don't worry about it.

Can anyone recommend any specific yaoi or shojo where the main character either in a relationship or one night stand suddenly disappears?? Then the other character searches for that person?
