In the previous chapter when talking to the secretary he had said "so just a hair sample will do?" meaning he intended to have a blood test done.
Also when he said he dad was hospitalized, he considered telling Haru because it would make him happy to have his father back but decided not to rock the boat.

That's because he didn't actually stick it in, it was just his fingers, so it wasn't technically rape. By definition it was sexual assault and attempted rape, but there was no copulation, so that's why.
