was discussing a couple ways that this manhwa could potentially end with a friend and here are two of my theories:
1. Eunsan, through Ian's teaching, rekindles his love for the sport and it turns out he's still pretty cracked at it. All those comments from past teammates and his father telling him he was never good enough fade away. Maybe he's good enough to get on the Korean national team. I think the average age for hockey players is around 28, so he isn't too out of the range. Ian and Eunsan play for Korea and live happily ever after.
2. Eunsan gets back into the sport as a hobby. Maybe he ends up becoming a coach. Maybe Ian trains the 20yr old Eunpa to the point of being good enough to get onto a Canadian team. Eunpa goes to Canada with Ian, and Eunsan follows along as Eunpa is his only family left + he loves Ian. Also... they need to see the Northern Lights together, which they can do in Canada. Gay marriage is legal in Canad and Ian is a citizen there, so he can totally get Eunsan a marriage license/visa there. At Eunsan's age he might not be able to qualify for a pro Canadian team, but who knows... who knows.
Ohh my theories are not quite far from urs damn. Esp the coach one. I feel like he gon be like his father, a coach for hs kids.
I think 2 is plausible because there have been records of people up to 50 years old playing hockey professionally

Actually someone has uploaded a cute photo of all of them including the new baby in the form of cute little snake, which they stated as not official but sooo cute and said they would delete it later probably that was the reason for the notification
