For a while I’ve had to remind myself that Kim Dan is the older of the two, but this chapter made it so clear to me for some reason. Seeing Jaekyung so vulnerable and crying makes him look his age imo, kind of like a mix of his child self (like when they were on the beach and Kim Dan was saying he’d be on his side) with his current self—his eyebrows have a huge part in that tbh, they’re always furrowed or at the very least very set, but in this chapter you can def see the difference.
Idk to me it’s like a full circle moment of him not getting “soft” per se, but definitely letting himself be more honest n vulnerable when it comes to his feelings for Dan and him coming to terms with the guilt for making him suffer.
Even if some people in the comments think it’s rushed or unrealistic, I can say from personal experience that once you accept/confirm any kind of previously ignored or suppressed emotion to yourself about anyone or thing, that they have a way of coming out sooner rather than later, whether that be a lash out or a confession or wtv.
Excited for the next few chapters, hopefully we get to see Jaekyung’s guilt and feelings for Dan fleshed out a little more either before or after a confession, but we’ll see :3
I’m getting such The Maid and The Vampire vibes just based on the plot of being transported to a different world from the modern one, but I have much higher hopes for this one than the other….i loved it when I first read it but revisited and to this day still wonder what I saw in it :’)
pawmanga has this chapter up with actual dialogue guys, so until this one gets fixed you can check it out there (it’s super cute, worth the possible virus)(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Is it just me or does Jaehee look more twinkified nowadays? Like where did his wide chest go, like there was a whole bit about it from that one chapter, he’s almost Dojun’s size now……. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
