guides and espers are a bit different in this story! they both have powers that can be utilized while fighting, and as far as i’m aware and from what i’ve taken reading this story— guiding is more of a mutual thing between both sides.
i actually like how it’s done in this bl. so many any other esper/ guide bls are so quick to have sex/ rape just under the disguise of “guiding” and usually there’s always a power imbalance with espers having more control. in here, both espers and guides are equal in strength
i like it better too— for the exact same reasons. i prefer this to typical guideverse. i DO think it would be easier for people to understand if it wasn’t under the premise of guideverse, mind you, but it’s significantly superior to regular guideverse tropes.
