The same can be said about movies and books with murder and other gruesome storyline, but they're just stories.
While they're okay as stories, they're not okay IRL.
Like for example, I'm okay with mangas with r@pe scenes in them, but I'm a firm believer that r@pe should be a capital crime and offenders should have their d*cks cut off, but I'm okay with them being in mangas because they're just stories.

kid's actions are actually pretty justifiable, he had no attention from his parents whatsoever so while the things he did are bad the teacher is grown and has no business taking advantage of a child in a vulnerable state like that. he really should know better.

baby read again, i said it was a portrayal of pedophilia because it IS, just as i would say a portrayal of murder in a movie or whatever is murder. no one's saying the author is a pedophile but the story incontestably has pedophilia in it and is romanticizing it. my problem with stuff like that isn't the action per-se, it's the portrayal making it seem like topics such as rape and pedophilia belong in love stories. they don't. hope this helps <3
