Honestly after reading all the reviews and left and right I honestly wouldn't say I'm ashamed to be a Caesar fan as I'm also an Alfonso fan. I think they're both really good fits for her just in different ways in all reality there's no way him and already would have ever end up together as or I just can't bring herself to forgive Caesar for their previous life but I think it is a shame that so many people act like he's the same person from their first life because he isn't he's changed a lot. And well I can't defend his actions as a small lie becomes a big lie over time and then you're telling more and more lies to cover up that's not lie and whatever used to cover that line up the same principle applies to this situation in his misery at feeling betrayed by Ari's letters to Alfonso he slept with her sister for a moment of comfort. Once he realized what he ran to her place to apologize for the night before and make amends. He continues to dote on her to stay in her good graces and try to win her over even more than before as after sleeping with Isabella he realized he didn't want anyone else even if she did her him but mainly because he wants to cover up his own guilt at sleeping with Isabella. Now he's an absolute idiot for thinking that that one make out session would actually hold any weight in keeping his little rendezvous a secret and further complicated any credibility he would have. Even though he loves Ari so much right now and wants to be good for her he went about it completely wrong and lead with further deceitful actions that would continue to discredit him.

Now ask someone who read the novel and knows what he does in the future regarding to our relationship with Alfonso that was unexcusable. But his reaction and the whole Isabella makeup thing at her birthday party was not in the novel in the first place unless I'm just forgetting and so I do hope the manhwa continues to take his character development in a different path path and further change him for the better. I like the concept that people aren't born evil they become evil based on their environment and in this life Caesar just happened to have had the positive influences / challenges that made him want to be a better man even though he is extremely flawed. Like with Alphonso he legally married that one girl in order to get his freedom. Now I'm not saying what he did is in any way equal to what's ceasar did as he did what he needed to do to save his life and go on his adventure to save the holy Land but they both did what they thought they had to to save what was important to them And went Alfonso does make his return and already finds out about his marriage to psycho girlie it's it's obviously going to cause some issues. I post this knowing that the majority of the fan base hates Caesar's guts but I really do enjoy his character overall as he is such a realistic d depictation of the average Joe who wasn't raised right or under good conditions and wants to be good but doesn't know how.
